1- Dual Tax Rate Names

Wafeq now supports tax rate names in both English and Arabic, giving you the flexibility to work in your preferred language.

2- System vs. Custom Tax Rate Indicator

A new visual indicator (Wafeq logo) now distinguishes system-generated tax rates from custom ones, making it easier to track tax settings.

3- XML Download for ZATCA Phase 2 Compliance

Businesses in Saudi Arabia that are onboarded to ZATCA Phase 2 in Wafeq can now download e-invoice XML files alongside PDFs for full compliance with ZATCA Phase 2 regulations.

Speed and efficiency upgrades across the platform:

1- Auto-Generated Serial Numbers

Sequential serial numbers are now assigned to all document types, including Manual Journals and payment receipts, improving tracking and organization.

Handling line items in forms is now significantly more efficient, supporting up to 100 items without performance issues.

3- New Sign-in & Sign-up Flow

API Enhancements for Seamless Integrations

Developers and businesses integrating with Wafeq will benefit from these updates:

  1. Item Support in API – The API now allows adding, retrieving, and managing items across invoices, quotes, and credit notes.
  2. Filter by Contact Code in Search – Find contacts using their contact code through the keyword search parameter.
  3. Retrieve Linked Individuals on Contacts – The API now provides access to individual persons linked to business contacts.
  4. Warehouse API – New endpoints for managing warehouses via API.
  5. Advanced Filtering for API Reports – More precise filtering options for API-generated financial reports.
  6. Cost Center as a dimension via API – Cost centers can now be assigned to line items in supported documents.
