About billing accounts

Wafeq will issue your subscription invoices to the organization that owns the billing account assigned to the subscription.

You might want your Wafeq subscriptions invoices to be issued to a single entity if:

  • You're an accounting firm or a reseller paying on behalf of your clients
  • You have multiple organizations on Wafeq and would like one organization to pay for all subscriptions.

Read on to learn how to change a subscription's billing account.

Changing the billing account of a subscription

A subscription can be paid for either through its own original billing account, or through another organization's billing account.

For example, say you have three organizations on Wafeq: one main company and two subsidiaries. You would like Wafeq's subscription invoices to be issued to the main company. To do that:

  1. From the workspace menu, click Switch organization and switch to the main company's organization
  2. From the workspace menu, click Manage Subscriptions
  3. To change the billing account of a subscription, click the Edit pencil icon, then click Change next to the billing account, and select the main organization's billing account.

You cannot change the billing account of an active subscription. Instead, set the subscription to cancel, then once canceled proceed with changing the billing account.
